JANUARY, FEBRUARY AND MARCH 2026

24th Mar 2026

Term two has been busy and lots of fun in Senior Infants.

We explored the topic of length in maths. We had fun measuring each other with lollipop sticks. We also measured our water bottles and school bags using cubes.

PE is lots of fun with Daly Exercise. We are learning lots of new PE skills and enjoying new games.

March has brought lots of signs of spring so we went on a nature walk to investigate. We are also learning about how plants grow. We planted cress seeds to find out more.

We dressed up for World Book Day and brought our favourite books to school to show our class. We are also busy speaking as much irish as we can during Seachtain na Gaeilge! We dressed in green clothes for Lá Glas and learned a new poem as gaeilge for Golden Assembly: An Bogha Baistí (The Rainbow)
